We have successfully assisted other businesses to become industry award winners, including RoSPA Gold / Gold Medal awards. Due to our active involvement in industry, we have been awarded at a personal level also. These awards were due to nominations from colleagues which is something we are extremely proud of. They include the following:
Chartered Fellow Member of IOSH
A proud Chartered Fellow Member of IOSH, Claire has held the position of Chair of the North West Construction Safety Group (NWCSG).
RoSPA Guardian Angel (2014)
In recognition and celebration of her work having gone 'above and beyond' to improve the safety of others and having shown commitment to safety and accident prevention through her personal initiative, diligence and enthusiasm Claire was awarded RoSPA Guardian Angel (2014).
Lifetime Achievement Award (2017)
In 2017 Claire was handed the Lifetime Achievement Award at the NWCSG Annual Awards in recognition of “an inspirational individual who has made significant contribution to Health and Safety over a sustained period of time” where the judges looked for an outstanding individual who has made a difference to Health and Safety within the construction industry and evidence of: -
An established history of distinguished service to Health and Safety in construction.
A lasting legacy to Health and Safety culture and practice.
Leadership and inspiration to others in the sector.
Earned recognition by industry peers and other industry and employer groups.
An acknowledgement they have reached a pinnacle within their profession.
Safety Groups UK Maurice Adamson Award (2018)
Safety Groups UK Maurice Adamson Award (2018) for outstanding contribution by an individual to the safety groups movement, presented to Claire at the House of Lords.
This Award was introduced in 2010 to commemorate the work of Maurice Adamson who worked tirelessly for over 20 years in improving the standards of health and safety and was the driving force behind the committee of the Teesside Safety Group.
RoSPA Distinguished Service Award (2019)
RoSPA Distinguished Service Award 2019 awarded due to Claires long-term, sustained contribution to improving health and safety.
2017 RoSPA Centenary
In May 2017, Claire attended the Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the RoSPA Centenary. This was as a result of the work carried out to improve safety standards via the Safety Group Network.
